Movies

More than 100 exclusive premieres; bold, daring and thoughtprovoking. From the biggest winners at Berlin, Cannes and Sundance, arriving in Spain for the first time, to the most groundbreaking new voices making their debut. The programme also includes the now-iconic sections LGTBI+, Arts, Clàssics, Balear and Nins. Trueba, Merlant, Noé, Huppert, Sachs, Serra, Arana, Abramovic, Jordan, Martín Gimeno, Loznitsa, Padial, Villaronga and many more.

Music

The best emerging acts from the underground scene share the stage with established artists and bands to bring Atlàntida’s nights to a spectacular close. Alizzz, Christina Rosenvinge, Natalia Lacunza, Rusowsky, Putochinomaricón, Ladilla Rusa and Rita Payés are some of the voices shaping the sound of AMFF: fresh, flamboyant and infused with electropop.

Talks

AMFF is about cinema; but also debate, current affairs and politics. Part of the programme is accompanied by talks featuring leading voices who help deepen the conversation around the themes explored in the films. Liv Ullmann, J.A. Bayona, Pablo Simón, Annie Ernaux, Slavoj Žižek, Ana Pastor, Pol Guasch and C. Tangana have taken part in discussions on art, identity, philosophy, historical memory, the climate crisis and today’s global conflicts.
