In 2025, Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest received the first Sustainable Events Certificate from Mrs. Greenfilm, audited by TÜV SÜD.
This recognition makes AMFF the first festival in Spain to pass this professional sustainability audit, ensuring rigorous compliance with environmental and social criteria throughout the organisation of the event.
Unlike other certifications, the Mrs. Greenfilm Certificate for Events adopts a comprehensive approach to sustainability, combining the reduction of environmental impact with social measures focused on equality, accessibility and diversity.
The Mrs. Greenfilm Certificate for Events, verified by the independent and accredited body TÜV SÜD, is a professional tool that certifies the environmental and social commitment of any type of event: corporate, cultural, institutional, social, sporting or hybrid.
It enables organisers to select and implement the measures most relevant to the format, scope and priorities of each organisation. The certification is based on a catalogue of criteria organised by impact areas; including mobility, energy, waste, inclusion, communication and procurement; allowing for customised and realistic planning.
The Mrs. Greenfilm Certificate goes beyond reducing environmental impact, incorporating a broader vision of sustainability by introducing measures related to social sustainability.
Mrs. Greenfilm was established in 2021 as the leading sustainability consultancy specialising in the audiovisual sector in Spain. The company is the strategic sustainability partner of Netflix Spain and Portugal. Mrs. Greenfilm has participated in more than 150 projects, including La Sociedad de la Nieve, El Hoyo 2, Culpa Míaand Operación Triunfo, as well as festivals such as Iberseries Platino & Industria, Punto de Vista and La Mostra de Valencia.
Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest is collaborating with Mrs. Greenfilm for the second year.
Priority will be given to the use of electric or hybrid vehicles for guest transport, thanks to our agreement with Audi.
The production unit’s means of transport is also an electric vehicle, thanks to Lo Music.
Information regarding public transport to the different event venues will be provided in the practical information section.
Energy In order to move towards a more sustainable supply chain, the festival has requested detailed information from its venues regarding the origin of the energy they use. This measure is part of a broader strategy to assess the environmental impact of operations and to encourage the use of clean and responsible energy sources across all areas of the event.
No more single-use plastics! We provide returnable and reusable cups to prevent the consumption of single-use plastics; likewise, reducing is a vital sustainability practice, which is why we encourage you to bring your own cup.
Accommodations close to the event venues are prioritised to reduce the carbon footprint from travel, and hotels with sustainability policies are preferred.
The festival’s carbon footprint will be calculated, and the possibility of offsetting it through local compensation programs will be explored.
Tickets are digital, and attendees are encouraged not to print them, as indicated by the ticketing information.
Local suppliers from Mallorca are prioritised. We take into account circularity and the reuse of materials, such as the tarpaulins used for carpeting and decorating the Es Baluard venue.
· The tote bag given as a gift to guests is fair trade and made with organic cotton, as is this year’s festival t-shirt.
The email address hola@atlantidafilmfest.es has been set up so that anyone with special needs can contact the organisation and request the necessary support.
In addition, we have launched the “Atlàntida per a tothom” (Atlàntida for everyone) initiative, an in-person assistance point designed to ensure that anyone facing difficulties when booking their tickets can do so comfortably and with proper guidance.
At the Ses Voltes and La Misericordia venues, we have established priority access for people with reduced mobility and one companion, which is always applicable before the general doors open.
A portion of the tickets for the festival events has been reserved for groups in vulnerable situations or facing social exclusion, aiming to guarantee their access and participation in the programme.
All AMFF staff have received training from the Apropa Cultura organisation. In doing so, we continue to learn how to make this festival a more accessible and inclusive space for the most vulnerable and marginalised sectors of society.
