There is one week every year when Palma becomes more than just a city.
Every evening, someone walks into Ses Voltes looking for a film and walks out with a conversation. At La Misericòrdia, hundreds of people watch the same screen and, for two hours, breathe at the same rhythm. Es Baluard fills with cinema and open horizons. At Cineciutat and Sala Rívoli, the lights go down while outside it still smells like summer. Hotel Victoria Gran Meliá becomes the place where ideas circulate, filmmakers share their secrets, and stories continue long after the credits have rolled.
Power House has been the driving force behind the festival’s production, while LoMusic transforms every venue into an immersive experience through light, sound and music. Together, they help shape an Atlàntida that is not only watched, but truly lived.
This is what happens between one screening and the next. Between a concert and a drink. Between an unexpected conversation and a late-night walk through the streets of Palma. The friends you came with. The people you’ve just met. The films that stir something inside you before you even know how to put it into words.
From 24 July to 2 August, cinema leaves the screen and takes over the city.
